I am a freelance science writer covering the intersections of biology, animal behaviour, biomedicine, and the societal and philosophical aspects of scientific research.
My stories have appeared in The Biomedical Scientist, European Commission, I, Science, BiteSize Bio, and more. 

 

I also have experience in scientific writing, copyediting of website content, and translating scientific books from English to Italian.

Before writing, I earned a Master's in science communication from Imperial College London and a doctorate in cell biology from the International Max Planck Research Graduate School for Molecular Biomedicine and the University of Münster.
